The SOS Soul Summer Party features the SOS choir and local band ‘Another Gray Area’.
Date – Sunday 13th June
Venue – Bar Risa, Friar Street Reading (Park at Garrard Street Car park, £3 sundays)
Tickets – £8.50 (with £1 of each ticket going to cancer research)
Time – 8.00pm to 11.30pm
Featuring ‘Another Gray Area’ – David Gray, John Dunsterville, , Lawrie Wright, Henry Smithson and Hamish Stewart PLUS guest solo vocals from the choir.

Sound of Soul, or SOS , is a Reading based community soul singing group centred around people who want to get out and sing! It is open to all over 18s who have the energy and enthusiasm to come along to a series of 2 hour rehearsal sessions and be part of an exciting musical event!
We run from February to June each year and seek people who want to do something different for one evening a week – come along and sing your heart and soul out! No experience necessary, no auditions, complete beginners welcome. Here’s what previous SOS choir members have said.
2010 SOS Season (NOW CLOSED)
First rehearsal 23rd Feb 2010 and weekly through to a gig on Sunday 13th June 2010 (no rehearsals duing school hols)
SOS rehearsals take place Tuesday evenings from 7.45pm to 9.45pm.
